Personal and Professional Development Reading for Memorial Day Weekend 2013
Memorial Day Weekend for 2013 has arrived. I know you are as excited as I am about fun with friends and family at the movies and cook outs. I hope you take a moment to remember the many who serve in uniform in the United States and other nations. Remember especially the souls who have fallen giving their lives to protect our interests.

Introduction
Men have two important times in life, the first time they
have sex and the last time they have sex always hoping the last time they had
sex was not the last time they will ever have sex. Biologically, men are the simpler of
creation’s expression in gender. Women,
the enhancement on creation’s prototype lock into their own biological print
sexually charged with the emotional influence of feeling’s agenda.
Men and women, we meet in the dynamic whirlwind of sexual
energy at the crossroads of hunger and desire, the reciprocal elements of our
shared masculine and feminine nature.
All we know is that we are all pleasantly captive to this power in us
that is greater than our capacity to override it. We are sexual FLAME ON, Hotwired and
Hardwired from the Cradle to the Grave.
Hotwired from the Cradle to the Grave
Humans are hardwired and hotwired for sex from
the cradle to the grave. We sit at the top of the brain chain civilized and
spiritual ready to get busy in the blink of an eyelash. Hormones are at the
ready for expression and reception. This is who we are. This is what we do. The Divine has made us
this way and said it is good.
Sexuality
and spirituality empower and liberate the human spirit. These are the paths of
enlightened grace, love, life, and peace.
Sex and
religion are about power and control, the paths to slavery and addiction. These
are the tools of people users like preachers, politicians, and civic leaders.
On the one hand, they condemn the sexual behaviors of others while having
secret lives on the other doing all the things they tell others not to do.
To all
the frauds, fakes, and pretenders, STEP OFF! Today we begin to talk about sex
in its most literal context, the place where most of us live and try to make
sense out of life every day.
Mommas
who taught little girls about Santa Claus also taught their little girls to
keep their legs together, knowing neither scenario was real in the long term.
Men who want virgins for wives want them immediately transformed into porn
queens to be equal to what they have seen, read, or heard. Women hope for men
who will be strong provider protectors.
These
historical notions exist. Men use love to get sex. Women use sex to get love.
Communicating seems appropriate here.
Human
biological instinct will not deny acting itself out. Many despite access to
education are ignorant of their own bodies. If women do not know enough, women
are immensely more aware than men. Boys and men invest so little time in
understanding female anatomy and process; it is easy to understand why 66% of
women responding to the Quality of Sexual Life Survey do not experience orgasm
through intercourse.
The
Master Jesus taught, “If the blind lead the blind, nobody finds their way.”
If most
people most of the time are sexually ignorant and immature, illiterate and
dysfunctional relationship can be the only likely outcome. Real people need
real information about real life to make informed decisions. Real people need
real information from real people about real sex and real sexual activity. It is
time for us to grow up and share that information.

The True Magic
![]() |
| Photo by Leia Goudeau |
I really did have fun the night before. I am pleased the effect was temporary. She told me she was from out of town and funny things might happen if I got too close. What can I say? It was like magic.
The true magic of everyday life is in recognizing the journey of exquisite
beauty discovering close friends that love each other and
stick by each other no matter what. This
magic is the purest energy. It inspires the soul and spirit to fly in dream and
wonder. This is the true magic. It is the joy of being.
No matter where one comes from, what one looks like, what one’s
personal experience has been, whether family treated one well, or not; life is
an open door to unlimited possibilities.
Believing is the ticket to enter into the realm of the true magic.

How to Meet a Stranger, Love a Stranger but not exploit a Stranger
![]() |
| Stranger to Someone |
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2
Who is a Stranger?
A stranger is a
person not yet known. A strange person
is a person not yet well known, appreciated or understood. Life is exciting
when making new friends and building new relationships. Strangers are friends we have not yet met.
As small children, all beyond our family
are strangers. Our parents tell us never
to speak to strangers. Our worlds are
small. We can see beyond them but we do
not have the freedom to move beyond them.
School becomes a first opportunity to
meet others. We learn that not everybody
is the same. Others do not wear the same
clothes or eat the same food. The new
ones are both exciting and scary.
How to Meet and Love a Stranger
Strangers are friends yet
undiscovered. Meet them on purpose. They await discovery. When we move towards them to meet them, the better
mystery of friendship begins.
All relationships have risks. It is human reality. Not all relationships work but we do not stop
believing in their possibilities.
Show love to a stranger by expressing authentic
and genuine interest in them and the things important to them. Demonstrate regard for their point of view
and help them to feel safe getting to know you.
How Not to Exploit Strangers
Do not pretend to be the friend with
the stranger to get from them something you want. Do not use them for sex, money, or
power. Some exploit others to get something
wanted when authentic friendship is not the goal.
When you meet the stranger for
friendship or other transaction, make clear what your interests are so the stranger
can make an informed decision. The
stranger has wants, too.
Where your shared interests hold the potential
to serve each other, mutually give to each other for the sake of each other’s
fulfillment. This is the prize of friendship’s
unfolding mystery.
Go meet some strangers. Make some friends and build some new
relationships.
